crash.

totally overrated. it actually said nothing and was instead just a string of scenarios with no ultimate message. also, having a diverse cast does not mean you have a multicultural story. if hollywood wanted to embrace a truly multicultural film then brokeback mountain would have won. that film did portray a story from a point of view not seen before in a major studio release.

That is a very easy question. I’m a movie buff. I’m really into classics like Casablanca. I can’t honestly say I’ve seen all of these movies, But I’ve seen quite a few of them.

No Country for Old Men

in my opinion, is not only the worst Oscar Winning Best Picture. But is one of the WORST movies I’ve ever seen in my life. That movie made no bit of since. The plot had more flaws than a loney toons cartoon.
There was no real point to the whole thing. The whole time it feels like you’re being drawn into something that gonna blow your mind, but at the end, nothind. And don’t even get me started on that ending. Usually when I see an ending that I don’t uderstand, I have to figure it out by any means necessary. But when I saw that ending, I didn’t even care. I was just glad it was over.
I like to study movies. So I usually watch any movie at least twice and it’s usually better. So I watched it again. That movie was even worst the second time. They should’ve just named that movie Three Hours You’ll Never Get Back. (It felt like ten)

Just my opinion though. I appologize for the rant. lol And if you actually liked that movie. To each his own. But not for me.
act24 | Apr 20, 2009

‘LOTR: Return of The Cash’ is pretty rank.

‘How Green Was My Valley’ famously beat ‘Citizen Kane’ to the Best Picture nod that year.

But hands down the cheesiest, flimsiest movie ever to get best picture has to Rocky. I don’t have a problem with people loving the movie - I mean how much sheer joy would be lost if people couldn’t do their Stallone impressions by shouting "Adrieennneeee!!!" and lolling their head from side to side - but it’s not art, it’s not well acted and it has all the depth of a Lifetime movie.

What’s all the more disturbing is not only did Rocky beat Scorsese’s Taxi Driver that year, it also beat ‘All The President’s Men’ and the Sidney Lumet-directed ‘Network’.

Rocky is a byword for big, dumb cheesy movie gets lucky.
1) Can Sharapova achieve career grand slam as she still left French Open title?
I reckon she can. She’s still very young.

2) Can Henin achieve career grand slam as she still left Wimbledon title?
Nah. But I hope she can

3) Can Nadal win ATP Tour Final before he retired?
Definitely!

4) Can Federer break 300 weeks for most weeks no 1?
Probably. I don’t really care neweiz

5) Which Grand Slam do you want Murray to win for his 1st grand slam?
Wimby… I’m sure that would mean the world to him!

6) How many grand slam can Federer win in 2010?
None…the AO was the last one!
Acey | Feb 04, 2010

 1. no
2. no
3. yes absolutely
4. yes
5. none
6. he will go gold grand slam
dima | Feb 04, 2010

 1) It is possible, but she seems less and less of a threat. I personally believe she will ‘do a Sampras’ when it comes to the French Open. And like Sampras, she hasn’t got beyond the semis at Roland Garros. However, she is still only 22.

2) Henin certainly can, and as stated, she is focusing on Wimbledon. She definitely has the tools to do it.

3) You mean at least one more ATP 250, 500, 1000 or Grand Slam??? Of course he will - watch out because April/May is always good for him, being the start of the clay court season. He won three tournaments on clay in the run-up to the French Open, until of course he lost to Federer in Madrid… But yes, he will definitely win another tournament.

4) Yes he can. Even if he has only one more good year (at least), that will take him to 300 weeks as he is on 269 right now.

5) Ideally, Wimbledon. But I suspect he will win a hard court tournament as his first Grand Slam - particularly the US Open.

6) Based on form so far in 2010, I personally believe he will win Wimbledon (obviously anything can happen between now and then), and possibly win either the French (depends on Nadal’s form, as well as Djokovic and others) or the US Open. I would love to see a calendar Slam out of him, but in my heart of hearts I don’t think it will happen.
Omstart: Out of Telegraphs | Feb 04, 2010

 1. yes sharpova can win the french open.. just not this year coming.. i would not think she would be ready quite yet.. but she as reached the quaterfinals a few times and semifinals once..

2. yes certainly justine can win wimbledon.. i think it will be this year… she is focusing sooo much on early returns of serve, more net attacking and hitting more aggressive serves.. lets not underrate henin here… she has the skills for wimbledon.

3. yes nadal will win a ATP final providing his knee coperates with him long enough

4.fed can break the weeks at number 1.. but he would have to be carefull he does not burn himself out

5. i would say probably the US OPEN so he can get closer to the americans and the american fans can have more of a liking to him….

6. i think federer is good for 2 more slams in 2010… but not all 3 that is left..
tennislover | Feb 04, 2010

 1) Can Sharapova achieve career grand slam as she still left French Open title?
well she will be turning 23 this April, so she still has quite a few years to win the French Open Title, to achieve the career grand slam.. and it’s not like she sucks on clay, she did make it to the SF in 07.. so i think once she gets her rhythym back, she will be able to not only win the French Open title, but other slams as well.

2) Can Henin achieve career grand slam as she still left Wimbledon title?
I think that it’s quite possible, she did make it to a couple of finals there, so it is quite possible, but i highly doubt it will happen this year..

3) Can Nadal win ATP Tour Final before he retired?
Rafa is one of the best top 8 players, im sure that he will be able to win one ATP Tour Final.

4) Can Federer break 300 weeks for most weeks no 1?
the points indicate yes. :/ although, i doubt that he will be able to defend the French Open title, so he will lose points there, and maybe hopefully, a certain Djokovic or Rafa can do well enough there to take away the number 1 rank.

5) Which Grand Slam do you want Murray to win for his 1st grand slam?
It would be great for not only him, but for Britain if he won Wimbledon as his first slam, but i would like to see Andy Roddick win that one this year :)… so why not let Murray win his first slam, at the US Open?

6) How many grand slam can Federer win in 2010?
it would be a shocker if he won another… i dont see him defending the French or Wimbledon, as for the US Open, he would be too scarred to win it, being that he lost in the final to DelPo
Her brash sincerity earns the respect of the doctor who has previously resigned himself to a life of empty lectures and booze. Rita’s character is a breath of fresh air for Bryant and he begins to care about someone, or something for that matter, for the first time since his wife left him. As each begins to wake up to life in their own way, the story comes to a close as an inspiring tale of self discovery and of the power choice that comes through education.

burning* - spell error soz

You are studying Educating Rita. Try English grammar.

Rita needs a Capital letter. Educating needs a capital. Burning is not spelt as buring. Burning books is burning knowledge and knowledge is power. Therefore a Dictatorial state like Germany would not want any outside influence, influencing its citizens. So Denny feared losing control over Rita so he wanted keep her away from new ideas and knowledge.

During the wars in Cambodia, Pol Pot would have anyone wearing glasses shot because he thought they were educated people. He also killed off all the teachers first!
