To Your Scattered Bodies Go by Philip Jose Farmer.
This is one of the greatest Sci-Fi novels ever written. I cannot recommend it more strongly.

Ender’s Game by Orson Scott Card is the best science fiction ever written. The Andromeda Strain by Michael Crichton is also very good.

Time for Patriots, 203 pages hardcover, author Thomas Hamilton (not Laurell, so no vampires LOL), publisher Strategic Book Publishing. It is a time travel/adventure story. A fair number of historical characters show up, such as Washington, Franklin and Mozart. Some subtle and occasionally not so subtle humor.
